Agricultural Literacy Curriculum Matrix

The Blueberries Ag Mag was written for elementary, and middle school students. In this issue, students will learn the history of cultivated blueberries, parts of the blueberry plant, and the life cycle of blueberries. Readers will also learn the importance of pollinators to blueberry flowers, and the health benefits to eating blueberries. This reader includes a map of where blueberries are grown in North Carolina. The reader can be viewed by students electronically, as a class with a SMARTboard, or printed.
