CHS Foundation Scholarships

CHS Foundation provides scholarships to Pre-Kindergarten-12th grade teachers to attend the National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference each year. The scholarship covers a $435 early conference registration for teachers selected. The application is now available at 2020 CHS Foundation Scholarship Application and the deadline for applications is March 1, 2020. Recipients are notified in mid-March before the early registration deadline in mid-April. Only state-certified classroom teachers who are employed by a school district or private school are eligible to apply. The deadline for applications is March 1, 2020.

2019 CHS Foundation Classroom Grant Application is now closed

CHS Foundation provides $500 grants each year to Pre-K-12 teachers who have classroom projects that use agricultural concepts to teach reading, writing, math, science, social studies and more. Eligible projects include classroom and schoolyard gardens, embryology projects, aquaculture projects and agricultural literacy reading programs to name a few. The CHS Classroom Grant application becomes available on this page July 15 and the deadline for applications is Sept. 15. Teachers have until June 30 the following year to complete the project and submit a final report. Only state-certified classroom teachers who are employed by a school district or private school are eligible to apply.

Fifteen Schools Around U.S. To Receive CHS Foundation Classroom Grants for 2019-20

Students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade will learn their reading, writing, math, science and social studies lessons through agricultural-related activities thanks to 15, $500 grants awarded by the CHS Foundation, funded by charitable gifts from CHS Inc., and the National Agriculture in the Classroom Organization (NAITCO).
