AITC 11 summer workshop was opened to all formal and informal educators. Public and private school teachers, school counselors, cooperative extension educators, and job corps educators all took advantage of this year's program.

AITC 11 summer workshop included an additional on-farm educational session and a County Fair to highlight Ag related educational resources available for teachers.

100 % of 2011 PA AITC summer workshop participants would recommend the course to a colleague.

Major Program Impacts or Outcomes

The 46 participants who attended the annual workshop were each given materials worth more than $300. In addition to all the knowledge acquired at the conference, the extra materials, including lesson plans, will assist the participants in passing on ag knowledge to not only the approximately 1150 students they teach this year, but the thousands of students they will teach in the future.
