Biosketch

A South Dakota native, Ann grew up on a diversified dairy farm. After attending South Dakota State University for her BS degree in dairy production and animal science, Ann spent time in Worthington, Minnesota, manufacturing livestock vaccines. Prior to her start with SDAITC in December 2011, Ann spent 5 years working for the South Dakota Cooperative Extension Service as a livestock educator in Miller, teaching adults and working with the 4-H program. Ann graduated again from SDSU with her M.Ed degree specializing in curriculum and instruction. Ann is married to Eric and they live in Miller. They have 1 daughter.
